Work in groups according to which programme you attend. You are going to work with different books

If you attend the Vehicles Programme, you are going to work with the book called “On the Road”. First you have to borrow the book in the library Once you have the book work with chapter 1 : Meet Jenny and Markus”, work with text and exercises on pages 7, 8 and 9.

If you attend the Business and Admistration Programme, you are going to work with the text called ” Meet Jenny and Marcus”. Work with the text and exercises on pages 7, 8, 9 and 10.

If you attend the Hotell and Tourism Programme you are going to work with the text “Britain´s Top TV chef Strips Recipes down to Simply Delicious” Read the text and do the following exercises: exercise A (page 90), exercises C, D and E (page 92) and exercises A-speaking (page 93)

We watched the film “The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency”. Tomorrow we are going to finish watching the film and after that we are going to write a film review.

During the English lesson we were in the language studio. We trained reading and listening comprehension by visiting the webpage of the national agency of education (skolverket) We did the following exercises: A Canadian Holiday (listening comprenhension) Where are they? (listening comprenhension) and Word Gaps I and II (reading comprenhension)

Planea un viaje a Madrid junto con 3 amigos. Estarán en Madrid durante 4 días. Planea actividades y excurciones.

El Museo del Prado, La puerta del sol, La plaza mayor, La gran vía, El palacio real, El corte inglés, El estadio Santiago Bernabéu.

Presentaciones: miércoles 8 de febrero.
Cada alumno debe hablar un mínimo de tres minutos.

Film review

After watching the film Forrest Gump, we are going to write review. A film review is normally composed of the elements listed below. When writing your review, include 4 of the following elements:

-Basic facts: name of the film, director, genre( action, comedy, drama, horror, romance, science fiction, suspense, thriller, etc), length of the film.

-The plot: what is the film about? Is it a good/interesting/exciting story? How does the story begin? Are there any key scenes?

-The setting: where and when does the story take place?

-The characters (the people in the story) Who is it all about? Describe them (appearance, behaviour) Who is the main character?

-The actors: How well have the actors manege to portray their characters?

-Conclusion: what’s your personal opnion and why? What impression did the film make on you? Is there anything in particular you like/disliked? Give a rating (1-5 stars or whatever)

También estuvimos en el laboratorio de idiomas. Practicamos el nuevo tiempo verbal “preteritum” y las palabras del texto “Mis fotos de Buenos Aires”
